Hello, I'm up with a sickness bug, it's been going through the family and now it's my turn! I have read that sickness bugs such as norovirus are not harmful to the baby but when I threw up a min ago there was some blood. Not loads but enough that when I wiped my face with some tissue there was bright red blood on there! Really worried 😔 any advice appreciated x

If it's bright red it probably means you've torn something in the process of throwing up (like nicked your throat or something) so it's nothing to worry about. I've had it a couple of times and always been told they'd only worry if it was dried blood (looks like ground coffee). But I'd ring the maternity ward or midwives or something just to be sure. Sorry you're not well and hope you make a speedy recovery x
