Small bleed, cervix still closed but hCG levels dropped by 100 in 48hrs

I had a small bleed on Wednesday evening, had bloods taken early hours Thursday morning, 3am In a&e and went back Saturday for repeat bloods. HCG levels dropped by 100. I have a scan already booked for Wednesday morning. I am 7wks pregnant, or was. I had a miscarriage last year but haven't had any cramps this time even though is suspected miscarriage. I'm no longer bleeding and when I was it was dark brown and only when I wiped. I am so confused as to what is going on. I've been told to possibly expect the heavy bleeding and cramps soon should it be a miscarriage. Is there by any chance this isn't a miscarriage? I am worried sick. I know all I can do is wait for the scan on Wednesday but I'm just after some other people's experiences and wanting to know if they had a positive outcome. I have sickness and very sorry boobs, also tonight I'm experiencing horrible sharp pains in both my legs. They just feel as though they are exhausted and want to give way. It isn't muscle pain like you'd expect when you've walked for miles, it's hard to explain.
I'm obviously living in hope that I haven't miscarried but I'm not blind to the fact I more than likely have.

Please no nasty comments im just a worried mum of 3 wondering if things may not be as bad as the look to be

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I think if your HCG levels have dropped then unfortunately I don't think the pregnancy can be viable. I've been through lots of miscarriages and I know its awful, especially when you still have pregnancy symptoms and feel in limbo. I'm surprised the hospital weren't more clear on what's going on. Maybe I'm mistaken about the HCG dropping? But to be honest I don't think so. Really sorry, OP, hope things are clearer soon and that you're okay Flowers

I'm sorry op, hcg is produced by a continuing pregnancy. A drop is not good news.
