Baby size at 7 weeks

Hi all, Hoping you can shed some light on your baby's length at 7 weeks & if there was a heart beat. I have measured small for 7 weeks and no heart beat seen yet :( praying for the best.

Is there any chance your dates could be slightly out because even a few days at this early stage would be the difference between seeing the heartbeat and not.
Are they going to rescan. Try not to panic just yet. Easier said than done i know

@twobambinos I could be wrong by 3 days max - but is it odd not to see a heart beat that late? I've been told that with a 5mm fetal pole, a heart beat should be detected...

Not everyone’s story is as successful as mine but I hope it turns out to be the case for you

I had a scan at around 6.5 weeks due to pain and bleeding - sac and I believe fetal pole seen but no heartbeat, I was told to go back in a week but in a gentle way told to expect the worst. When I went back there was the heartbeat and the cause of the bleeding was a hematoma but that cleared itself up by my 12 week scan.

I honestly don't know. I just know that there have been so many posts on here of people that are 7 weeks and no heartbeat only to go back a week later and it be there. I hope it will be the same for you. Its easy to be a tiny bit out on a scan when it's only mms in the measurement. Fingers crossed

Thank you Bigpizzalover. I am glad things worked out for you. I've been told to expect the worst too by an experienced sonographer who was pretty certain it's not viable. Just not ready to let go so i guess we will see!

I had a scan at 7+2 and baby measured 1.15cms. The heartbeat was visible. Got my fingers crossed for you.
