Hi. I am 27 weeks pregnant and I have had cough after cough after cough. I've not got a cold or any other symptoms. Just a tickly cough with some phlegm and it's keeping me up at nights.I'm also retching. Can anyone give me any advice on what to take? I've tried hot honey and lemon drink, drinking lots of fluids & eating lots of fruit and veg. I eat healthily anyway. The doctors have said that I'm not athsmatic, that my chest is clear, that it's not hayfever etc.
So, any advice?

I wonder if it is just a general pregnancy sympton as your mucous membranes go into overdrive.

However I have had a cough throughout my pregnancy and my Dr said it might be because of the heartburn I get -I sometimes wake up choking a bit on acid (sorry Tmi!) and this little bit of aspiration has led to me having a cough. If that is a problem for you maybe try gaviscon at night?

I have a slight cough too. Nothing major, but just a tickly one that comes now and then. Wonder if it is summat to do with being preggers?
