6-7 week bleeding

Hi guys, so according to my dates I'm 7 weeks today.

Since Wednesday I have had some spotting. With yesterday morning being the worst and most blood, no clots though. All dark red , not particularly brown blood. Today I have just had pink when I wipe. I have had no cramps.

I am just wondering if anyone else has any experience of this? I don't have my booking in appointment for 2 weeks , also I wanted to hold off for as long as possible for early scan so we have booked one ourselves for 9 weeks in the hope we would see a heartbeat...I'm wondering if I should try and bring this forward? Would I see a heartbeat at 8 weeks?

I don't have many pregnancy symptoms either , I had bad bloating which seems to have eased off. No nausea or sickness. So suppose I don't particularly feel pregnant either. Did any one have a missed miscarriage and instinctively feel something was off? I suppose it's all just a waiting game now?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi hope you're ok. It is such a scary time when this happens but it's best to get checked out.

I bled at 4-5 weeks. Mild cramping and it was bright red and then pink. I assumed the worse but then a week later did test again and it still said I was pregnant. I knew that it could still be hormones in body but went along with positive thoughts. Then between 6-7 weeks bled again, quite heavy with cramping and again, just assumed it was period. But I went to my nearest early assessment unit and they scanned me and found the heartbeat! It was amazing. Its up to you whether you can wait or if you want tje answer sooner. They can detect heartbeat early. I then went on to bleed at 10 weeks and again, very scary time. Went straight to early assessment unit to be scanned and everything was ok. I'm no 37 + 5 weeks!

It really is up to you whether you cam wait but there are units out there for this reason to help women get an answer earlier. I wish you the best of luck and understand it's a really scary time but try to be hopeful as bleeding can be common (although not normal) in early pregnancy.

Hi, I'm just over 6 weeks. I've had brown spotting and cramping off and on since my BFP! I had a scan at EPU last week where they saw the sac and yolk but slightly too early for a heartbeat, have another scan next week when I'll be 7.5 weeks. I also had a dark red bleed yesterday and was examined, but no explanation given and just advised to rest!

It's so anxiety provoking isn't it!! Honestly though, if you have an early pregnancy unit nearby, give them a ring, they were so helpful!

I had bleeding and brown bleeding at 5 weeks. Had scan and yolk and sac were in good shape. It went on for a week and a half. Al 8 weeks I had another scan and this little mushroom with this huge heart showed on screen. One of the most special moments of my life. I had cramps like before a period and mu breast hurt a little. No other pregnancy symptoms whatsoever. I am 19 weeks now. Good luck!
