Continuous vomiting

I've had continuous vomiting since 10pm this evening. First I was bringing up food & now it's just liquid most the time it's red don't know if it's blood or what. I had tandoori chicken for dinner. Every time I get into bed and start getting comfy I need to vomit again then run to the toilet... I'm 6weeks along. Is this normal? I didn't have anything like this in my first so I'm not handling it very well

Anyone? I've been vomiting all night. Nothing is helping the sickness & I don't know what to do. I've got a 2yr old with me & his dad is at work until later this afternoon, thinking if there's anything over the counter I can get?

It's hard to tell.. it might just be a bug that you've picked up and unfortunate timing.
If it could be blood you're bringing up I think you need to call 111 and see someone.
I really hope you feel better soon x

You need to see the doc. That’s not normal, no. If it’s come in suddenly it could be food related or it could be the onset of severe nausea and vomiting NVP - I.e. hyperemesis. There’s a support thread in here if you need us!

The chemist can point you to some rehydration salt type stuff - drip it down you one teaspoon at a time. Keep drinking, even if it’s coming up, that is really important.
Then see your doc. Make sure they know it’s been constant and you can’t keep anything down.

Go see the chemist for rehydration sachets of ask someone to get some for you. After one night it could be norovirus, but if it carries on it could be hypermedia and you need to see the GP

Hi All, thank you for your support. So ended up calling 111 this afternoon who wanted me to go to a&e within the hour or would send me an ambulance...we went they put me on a drip & gave me anti sickness through the iv. I'm feeling much better since, have had a dry toast & kept it down so far. Also sent me home with anti sickness tablets. They didn't check Baby but they had no concerns x
