How much do I need to wash?

Hi everyone,

This might be a silly question but I'm wondering how crazy I should go with washing baby items as I'm starting to pack my hospital bag and wanting to make sure I've washed what I need to before packing it. I've washed all their clothes and will wash all the muslins and blankets this weekend but should I even wash like my nursing pillow cover, their comfort toy, my new robe I bought for hospital bag or is that just crazy haha?

Just do whatever you have time for.

And congratulations.

I would wash the comfort toy, nursing pillow cover and robe if you have time. Plus you can channel all your nesting energy in that direction!

I would only wash the baby stuff (but then I am quite lazy), and don't wash all your newborn stuff as you may want to swap it for a different size if you have a hefty baby.

Baby won't pay the slightest bit of attention to the comfort toy for quite a few months so I wouldn't bother with that tbh, but that's just me.
