Movement?

I'm 12 weeks today, first pregnancy and while I'm sitting here on the sofa, I can feel a weird bubbly/popping sensation in my lower left side for about a minute. Feels like it's coming from my groin/ovary area. Is this the baby? I know it's more likely to be gas or something.

Anyone?

With me,I wasn't sure either at first but as the movements become more frequent and stronger, you can look back and say 'yeah that was movement.'

It’s possible! You’ll probably only really know for sure as time goes on.

I started having what I thought might be movements at 13 weeks which have gradually got stronger over the last 5 weeks and I can say with absolute certainty that I have a very active baby at 18 weeks.

I thought that seemed quite early for a first baby but I knew what I was looking for as I’m a midwife and I’m fairly slim so assume it’s because there isn’t a great deal of padding!

I think it’s defo possible...it’s weird isn’t it because when it’s happening you’re almost sure it is baby moving but then when it stops you convince yourself you’re imagining things! I’m 14 weeks and I’m sure now and then I feel a little flutter/almost like my tummy is turning upside down or something?
