My partner's niece has chicken pox and we're seeing her on Easter Sunday. I've had chicken pox as a child. I'm 12 weeks, is this okay?

I had the same thing, partners daughter had it and stayed with us for 4 days, so long as you've had it before then all should be good! I'm fine :-)

My nephew has had it recently and I called the midwife to get advice just to be safe and was told as long as I had them as a child i will be immune to it so no danger to my unborn baby.

If you are worried though give midwife a call. It's always better to seek proper advice Smile

You'll be fine if you definitely had it as a child.
