Just feeling a little deflated really. Was hoping I’d feel at least something. Even something that I could mistake for baby! But it’s so quiet in there :( I no it’s still quite early, but just feeling a bit fed up. Just need a bit of a vent I think! Anyone else feeling the same? Or felt movement late? I wasn’t told I have a placenta at the front x

I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks so there could be quite a wait yet (now 24 weeks). If it's your first then I'd say you've got a few more weeks yet.

Midwives state that it can be 24/25 weeks so please try not to worry, I know it's hard but it is completely normal. Thanks

I am almost 23.5 weeks and still waiting... also have placenta at the front. Scans show baby is healthy. But I hardly have a bump too.
Waiting to feel her is frustrating. Ive told myself that it will come at 26 weeks and just tried to focus on other things related to the pregnancy. I'm trying to read some books etc. I don't have much useful advice except it could be a wee while yet so try and put it out of your mind. 17weeks is early.

Most FTMs haven't felt anything at 17 weeks and many won't feel baby for several weeks more.

My daughter's 13 now but I remember expecting to feel movement at about 20 weeks.A silly midwife then asked me at about 17 weeks whether I'd felt movement yet and of course that set me worrying for the next few weeks!! Also remember you may not be sure at first.Once you've definitely felt movement you'll likely realise that you've felt something earlier if that makes sense.

Took me until 25 weeks to feel anything now I can't shut the bump up (currently 39 weeks) hold on in there OP Thanks

I was just shy of 20 weeks before I felt anything. I found out at my 20 week scan that I had an anterior placenta, but I think it's a normal stage to start feeling anything. It's hard to be patient though.

Im on number 4, midwife asked me at 16weeks if i felt anything and my response was "im not sure thought it was just gas" i couldnt say for definate it was movements until about 21weeks. Hold on youll get there soon :) xx

preggersteach · 30/03/2018 22:51

I didn't feel anything at all until 20 weeks

FallenAngel89 · 30/03/2018 22:52

At my 12 weeks scan I wasn't told that my placenta was at the front, I was told at my 17 weeks private scan. Had DC previously and never had placenta at the front so I'd been a bit Hmm I'm nearly 19 weeks now and still only feel odd twinges in my sides and back. It will come Smile
