Weird test result

Does anyone else think it’s weird that the test line is so strong and the control line so faint? Had my first positive test a couple of weeks ago but feeling a bit anxious as I don’t seem to have many symptoms so just nipped out to buy a test and got this! It’s a first response but the rapid result one not the early result. I just think it’s a bit odd that the control line is so faint....think I’ve made my anxiety worse not better

I think that’s Normal if your further along. I had the same and I’m now 25+5

Yes I had that too - it should say in the instructions that its indicative of a strong positive. Congratulations!

This is totally normal. I took another test 1 week after I found out I was pregnant and had the same. In fact my control line was even lighter. It is a good thing, it means your hormones have increased and are so strong the dye is getting used up by the strenght of the test line leaving not much for the control line. Please try not to worry - this is good news!

It just means your HCG is a higher level than if you had tested earlier and is a normal positive result. Congrats!
