Feeling bruised after 12w Scan

Hi all

Had my 12 week scan yesterday afternoon and baby was showing off it's acrobatic skills so the lady really struggled to get the stuff she needed so was using quite a lot of pressure pushing down on my abdomen. Today I feel really bruised inside! Is that normal?

Yes 😔 after my first 12 week scan was the same. She really dug in with the pressure. Lots of warm baths. Hope it eases soon. Congrats on your pregnancy 💖

Yes me too! It quite hurt and was sore for a while afterwards. She had me empty my bladder and lay on my side as I had an acrobat too

Oh god yes! I thought it was just me! My sonographer felt like he was kneading bread he was so heavy handed!
