Hi,

Any advice or anyone who has had the same thing would be appreciated if anyone could tell me the care you received. I work in a school and was around children with slapped cheek. I had blood tests recently and the hospital called and told me I tested positive for the virus. They said as the baby looked okay on my scan last week they aren’t going to do anything other than check at the 20 week scan. Everything I have read on NHS etc says I should be offered weekly scans to monitor the baby. I feel a little worried and confused and just wondered if anyone had any information?

Thanks

I'm so sorry that you are going through this - it must be very worrying. I had a scare at Christmas and the midwife did say that there was very little to be done apart from extra monitoring. Hopefully someone with more direct experience will be along and able to shed some more light. Flowers
