I'm 3cm dialted and had a sweep how long before things kick in

I'm really sorry but there's no guarantee you will - have you been told to expect to?

With dc1 I wasn't dilated or soft but went into labour within 36 hours,

With dc2 I was almost 3cm and v soft, had two sweeps, but went 12 days overdue and had to be induced.

Fingers crossed it happens for you quickly!
