Suddenly Hungryyyyyyyy 38 weeks

For as long as I can remember I could barely eat due to heartburn and baby pressing on my stomach, suddenly out of nowhere the past few days I have been experiencing crippling hunger pains making me eat everything in sight. After eating the hungry pains come back, has anyone else had this so suddenly in later pregnancy?

I had this with my eldest... Hubbie and I were at a party and I could not stop stuffing my face 😂 I went into labour in the middle of that night, so I think it was my body prepping for the 17.5 hours I was about to go through, to meet my son 💕

I had this with my first too! Although it happened a lot earlier than 38 weeks - it was somewhere around 20 I woke up one morning absolutely starving and that was it! DH and DM both said they'd never seen anything like it - I'd have breakfast, a snack, lunch, a snack, a huge dinner, pudding, a snack, then a couple of biscuits before bed. I went to a funeral at 37ish weeks and had to keep going back to the buffet because I was so hungry!

I'm 24 weeks with DC2 and it's just starting now, hopefully less so than with DD!
