Bump at 10/11 weeks...

How do I hide this? Scarves are only just about working. This is dc3 so was expecting to show early but it's very obvious now.

In maternity clothes I look about 6 months, normal clothes are just too tight.

My scan isn't until the 9th! Anyone got any ideas?!

Nope but shamelessly lurking on your thread for ideas!

mintich · 27/03/2018 19:04

I have the exact same problem!

somersetsoul · 27/03/2018 19:23

Glad it's not just me! Maternity clothes are so comfy but I just can't out myself yet!!

Baggy hoody? Big coat? :S

RaindropsOnRoses2 · 27/03/2018 19:37

Baggy top, padded bra, scarf Grin

Littlebelina · 27/03/2018 19:52

I'm trying tunic tops but I think it might look worse!

mollymoo0 · 27/03/2018 19:56

Have you any skater type dresses because they will blow over the tummy then a scarf can top it off.

Thishatisnotmine · 27/03/2018 19:59

Hip length cardis that will hang either side of your bump.

Or always have some food in your hand so people will assume you have just rapidly gained weight!

MammaH2018 · 27/03/2018 20:00

A peplum style top? Or long length cardis over a regular top with a scarf?

Icklepickle101 · 27/03/2018 20:03

My bloat was terrible at that stage. It settled down around week 14 until I ballooned again 2 weeks later!

I borrowed my sisters shirts which are 2 sizes bigger so covered it quite well.

IWouldLikeToKnow · 27/03/2018 20:25

At this stage it's likely bloating. And it will go back down in a week or two until the numb starts growing. Try some under the bump skinny jeans. They work way better than over the bump, particularly if you've not much of a bump. You can then wear a long line top that covers the band on them. I found in the early days these were great. In fact I never really filled over the bump style and I wore them all the way through. I had the topshop ones.

somersetsoul · 27/03/2018 20:40

I don't think this is bloat. With my 2nd I had a bump at 10 weeks that only got bigger!

Shirts and tunics make it look more obvious. I'll get a bigger scarf and hope that it stays cold!

I hid mine with the use of coats and scarves. Pray for cold weather!

Matt black tshirt under brighter coloured longer length jacket, black trousers and low heels.

I managed to get to six and a half months before I told my work about my ds. But it was my first.
