Hi all, I'm 20 weeks pregnant (due 10th August) with my first baby who we now know is a healthy girl!
When we went for our 20 week scan last week at the hospital, she really struggled to find her and had me in all sorts of positions trying to find a clear picture. Luckily we'd been to a 4D scan the week before so didn't really miss anything.
After leaving the hospital, my partner said that while I was facing away from the screen, she typed 'breech' on one of the measurements she took but she never said anything about this.
I'm assuming it's nothing because she would of said something but can anybody explain a bit more? I have no idea about pregnancy or babies etc and this is all totally new to me lol
Thanks!

TOtally nothing! Don’t worry 😀 means baby is head up feet down. They only worry about breech babies when they are v close to being born as it’s not the ideal way to exit IYSWIM not impossible but they prefer babies to turn. Most do about 37 weeks ish. So yes all good! Congrats Flowers

Breach just means baby is feet or bum down rather then head down. It can make labour harder but you have plenty of time for baby to move to the ideal position. At 20 weeks baby will still move around lots.

I thought so but just wanted some reassurance! Thank you so much! x
