I have always been able to sleep very well, infact my mum would always say i could sleep anywhere even on a galloping hedgehog lol. But the past 2 weeks i am waking up a lot through the night. I either go to bed with pjs on and wake up with out or wake up so bloody hot. I also ache everywhere. My neck, my ribs, my head and i cannot get comfy! I have no trouble getting to sleep i just havs trouble staying comfy, cool and staying asleep. I didn't have this with Dd1. Anyone else the same, any tips? X

Coolmax bed topper and sheets are good as they keep you cool- I have a fan on beside me all night so that helps and making sure I have liquids on hand to keep from being too hot.

Thank you. I will look in to that. I do have the heating on before bed but will stop that. I don't understand why my back, neck, head and ribs hurt when i wake up though. Mattress is not even a year old and is flipped every month. Unless i am laid funny through the night x

I'm 20 weeks with my first baby & I'm the same! I toss & turn for ages, then I'll finally nod off & wake up again pretty much every hour or so. I've never been an early bird but I can't seem to sleep past 6:30am over the last few weeks! I just want a lie in lol!

Do you have a maternity pillow like the Dreamgenii? I bought one on eBay when I was pregnant with DD and it helped the hip/back pain so much, especially as I got bigger. Best £12 I ever spent!

I got it out at 12 weeks with this one. 24 weeks now and I do still wake up a bit sore some mornings, but it's so much better with the pillow.
