Just wandering if anyone out there has had or having the same experience as me and could help.

I had an early scan due to terrible back pain - I thought i was around 7 weeks but couldn’t be sure as my cycle is all over the place. The scan showed an empty sac around 4 weeks, I was very panicked at this point as I’ve never had any problems with my last 2 pregnancies. The midwifes hinted that my pregnancy may have stopped developing but would track HCG to get a better indication. My first results showed levels of around 2000, then they doubled nicely after 2 days resulting in them being around 4000 - the midwife re-assured me this was a good sign that my pregnancy is progressing well & im just earlier than expected. She also told me that my blood results match up with the gestation of the early scan I had.

I’m slightly more relieved but to get a 3rd set of bloods done & get rebooked for a scan in a couple of weeks time but I can’t help but worry that the sac will still be empty. Has this kind of thing ever happened to anyone else?
