I cry at everything. Honestly i mean everything i cried because i spilt a cup of tea, because i have a headache, because of restless leg syndrome, because i couldnt get the washing line to stay up. This tine round i cry at absolutely everything. Xx

I believe this is absolutely normal! At 16+4 I haven't cried yet or got overly emotional but I'm guessing I should expect this to come.

Thank you both. I just feel like the smallest thing will set me of crying and it is normally very rare for anyone to see me cry but have cried twice at work and as much as I tried to hold it in I couldn't. Very frustrating and this is unprofessional of me! I do have things that are making me sad but I would normally be much more together about it than this.

@itallhappensforareason - thank you for your message and making me feel I'm not completely out of the ordinary. Alot of the books, apps, articles.. Mention first and third trimester hormones but nothing about second.

Make sure you are getting enough sleep. I'm tired trimester atm and was really losing it emotionally last week. Slept for twelve hours at the weekend and feel sooo much better now!

Hey sweetie. I wish i could find sonething to help. All ive found is sobbing into my hot chocolate and getting an early night. I very rarely sleep these days but peace and quiet helps at tines.

@Olive1988 I'm surprised they only mention 1st and 3rd trimesters... I would have thought it was applicable throughout the entire pregnancy with the amount of hormones whizzing around and your heightened emotional state at being pregnant anyway?! It seems a lot of articles seem to think the 2nd trimester is a bag of roses but I'm yet to feel this....
