NHS are taking so long to refer me to my local specialist at Darrent Valley hospital in Kent, and so have decided to book for a private consultation which is this Wednesday.

Just wondering if anybody has seen Dr Leila Hanna? she is supposed to be quite blunt and to the point but very much in the know when it comes to her field. She is a gynaecologist and obstetrician.

Im going to ask about taking baby asprin and Metformin/Progestron as i have PCOS (only diagnosed in December, my hormone levels were fine but after a scan they found cysts on my ovary's and I have acne on my back)

Anbody have any tips on what to ask for? im desperate to get any test done i can, we cant go through this again.

Thank you

FYI i did see Leila Hanna and i couldn't recommend her more highly... she knows what she is talking about, she is thorough and fills you with confidence. She sent me for blood tests (only ones i hadnt had already) and spotted something in previous blood tests that nobody had before - FSH level being high for my age.

She put me on baby asprin and told me not to hang around with TTC, i am now 10 weeks pregnant - i have had 2 scans that have shown a healthy baby with a healthy heartbeat. None of which i have ever experienced before - Couldnt be happier.
