Hi everyone I had a scan today at 7 weeks 5 days and all was good saw baby and it's little heartbeat. However the sonographer asked if I had polycystic ovaries cause she could see roughly 5 cysts between my two ovaries. She said she wasn't concerned about them but I've had a history of having burst cysts. Should I be worried! Here's little baby on the scan 😍😍

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am 8 weeks 5 days along and have reo ovarian cysts on my left ovary. They sometimes cause me a lot of pain and I have codeine to take when that happens. But I've had no other issues just being scanned every two weeks at the moment x

@Fevertree thank you! And congratulations to you too! Are they concerned about your cysts or are they fairly common in pregnancy? I'm such a worry head and totally paranoid x

I had a scan a couple of days ago and the Sonographer told me I had a corpus luteal cyst on one of my ovaries. She said it was nothing to worry about and it was common in pregnant women.

Hi there, I also have an ovarian cyst. I’m currently 31 wks and agree, everyone says the risk to the baby is very minimal.
Don’t mean to scare anyone, but if you are unlucky, they can cause severe pain to mother though! Mine is 8 cm and codeine is no longer working AT ALL when it flares up as it is now... very little doctors can / will do... just having to deal with crippling cramping pains. They will likely remove mine laparoscopically after birth.

Think I have just been unlucky though Sad hopefully your pregnancies will be easier!! x
