Hi
Had a sweep on my due date, she said I was 1cm dilated and effacing. Had absolutely no niggles since then, except at about 4 this morning I woke up with some slight pain in the bottom of my bump and then went back to sleep. Now since getting up this morning I’m getting what I could only describe as really bad period pains. It’s all in the bottom of my bump and sometimes feels like it’s in my back and I’m having diorrhea as well, sorry tmi.
Since I don’t think I ever had Braxton Hicks I have no idea whether these are contractions or not. I’ve read online that they should be 5-30 minutes apart in early labour but I’m finding it difficult to count when the pain stops and starts?
My OH has gone to work and I’m at home alone and really don’t know whether this is the start or I’m being over dramatic. I don’t have my midwifes number, only the triage at the hospital. Has anyone’s labour started off like this?
