Nursery hours for toddler when baby born?

Any tips or suggestions from those who have done it before would be very welcome...
Baby due just after Summer half term when DD will be 2 and 2 months. Can change her hours from the half term onwards but not sure what to go for! She currently does 2 days at nursery, one day with my DM but all in a row as I work 3 days in a row so I could spread it out more. But as we've moved it's now a 15 min drive and quite awkward at drop off (5 min walk from car to nursery) so will I really want to do that early in the morning with a small baby or will I welcome the chance to offload the toddler and therefore won't mind getting up and about?
And if I'm spreading out the hours should
I go for mornings or afternoons?
Toddler has been sort of nap refusing of late- it's hit and miss whether she will or not, but don't know if that is a phase.
Evenings will be light as she'll only be at the nursery until the end of August so also contemplating doing afternoons and then still having play time at home for a few hours when she does finish...
So tricky to decide!

Im having my toddler in nursery every afternoon for 2 hours so he gets some rough and tumble time there, he will also do at least 1 morning a week making a full day 9-3:15... he has special needs and loves nursery, also has a 1 to 1 teacher so i feel it is best t keep his routine ☺ 2 days overdue now x

Is your DH able to drop off/pick up (either morning or evening before/after work?)

My DH will drop off DS before work and I plan to walk down with the newborn to pick him up at lunch times. (Pregnant right now so just collect him in the car)

I would not make changes to a toddlers routine at the time of a new baby, unless it was absolutely unavoidable.

I kept mine on exactly same pattern of hours. So I wouldn't make any changes, especially as you say this is only until August, and definitely if your DH can help with some of the nursery runs.

I’d try and keep hours the same, so much disruption with a new baby anyway. If you can manage then keep Nursery routines etc exactly the same.

DH can't do drop off or pick up unfortunately. I'm thinking to keep the Wedenesday the same (9-3.30) and then just cut short the Friday so it's a shorter day and finishes at lunch time rather than 5.
