I am 20 weeks on Tuesday and I am continually astonished by how big my bump is this time around!

Aw lovely ❤❤ I can't wait for my bump. X

Billie353 · 25/03/2018 21:36

Snap, I'm 20 weeks on Tuesday too. I'm not sure my bump is as neat as yours but I'm overweight too so mine is hiding a bit Blush
Do you know if you're having a girl or boy x

Still just looks like s big lunch most of the time!

That's a very neat bump :) this is my 2nd DC so I seem to have popped a lot earlier x

26 weeks on Wednesday and enormous. Arched back and everything GrinGrin chunky before though 🤷🏻‍♀️

lifechangesforever · 26/03/2018 19:57

24 weeks on Wednesday and it's fair to say it's coming along now but it's mainly up top - like a D shape, there's also a definite waddling to my walk 😂

I'm 23 weeks and am naturally petite, so my bump feels big to me! Really love it though, and feeling grateful ❤️.

wombanonfire · 26/03/2018 21:11

At around 20 weeks I had no noticeable 'bump' and strangers definitely wouldn't have known I was pregnant. At 31+4 weeks, I do have a bump but it's still pretty small compared to others. There's no right or wrong way for a bump to look at a particular gestation, so bump sharing/comparison for any reason other than genuine interest/curiosity (which I'm sure is the reason, here) is pretty much pointless! I say this because I know a lot of mamas/mamas-to-be often worry about their bump being too big/small - I was certainly one of them, once.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancies! :)

@MamOfFrankie I'm 29 weeks tomorrow and I feel like my bump has suddenly got a lot bigger. I'm pleased though, I have been waiting for a proper little bump! Yours looks amazing 😊

23 weeks tomorrow. And bump is yet to pop. Actually makes me a tad anxious, as also feel no movement yet. But have had my 20 week scan and baby is good size.

25 weeks. This just appeared about 2 weeks ago. Relatively limited to belly so far.

wombanonfire · 27/03/2018 13:06

@Bumblealong1 I know it's much easier said than done, but try not to worry too much. I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and never really 'popped'. Bump just very slowly and gradually got bigger (so much so, it's been hard for me to actually notice the growth... it's only when I try to put on a pair of jeans that I realise that my belly has, indeed, grown). You can still see my abdominal muscles when I tense (picture taken 5 days ago, at 31 weeks), and suddenly I barely look pregnant!

In terms of feeling no movement, do you know the position of your placenta? Having an anterior (front-facing) placenta can mean it takes longer to start feeling movement, as the placenta sort of cushions the baby's movements. It can even mean that movements are lighter when they are eventually felt.

Hope this helps :)

@wombanonfire Thank you so much for coming back to me. It's very reassuring to hear/see your story & bump! It does help. Thank you.

I see what you mean about the slow growth that just creeps up and you don't notice in big way. I've always carried any/all my excess weight in legs, bum etc and somehow managed to have a slim stomach..and my husband says he can really see the change now as it is a lot thicker. But to the outside world it doesn't look like much and of course it doesn't help hearing " oh my gosh...I just cant believe you are so far gone.. where is the baby?!?!' etc so many times a day.
And I keep thinking, 'i'm lucky, I shouldn't complain' but then another voice says 'what happens if I am not lucky and actually my baby has stopped growing' etc. ARGH.

I do have an anterior placenta so I am trying not to fret about the lack of feeling of movement. If I get to 24 weeks (5 days away) i'm meant to call the assessment unit for checks.

I, and I imagine lots of mums-to-be, have that anxious voice that creeps up on me regularly and I am trying to learn to curtail it.

Great to see the range of bumps on show!
