Egg Help!

Hey!

I had a scan in the hospital and was told by the nurse who did the scan that my eggs were very immature for my cycle. The next day I came on so since then I have been worrying. I have been to the doctors again to have tests for polycystic ovaries but nothing came back. My scan also showed may have some small fibroids.

I have called my doctors and they don't seem to have anything to worry about. I have seen/spoken to a different person each time and no one has told me if it will get hard to get pregnant, if I have any risks, what I do with immature eggs! I'm not looking to get pregnant for about 3 -5 years (im 29), but I'm worried if I leave it too late will I regret it.

Has anyone had immature eggs? What did your doctor tell you? Was it easy to get pregnant? the nurse did say they might give me something to sniff which will force them to develop.

I feel a little confused by this! Thanks in advance for you help!!

I don't have any answers for you, but your doctors should.

If you don't already have a follow up appointment booked, then book one.

Then write a list of all your questions. Feel free to print a spare copy for the doctor to hand to them. Then go through them at the appointment. Write down answers.

If there's someone you feel comfortable inviting along that can be helpful as they may remind you of a question that's been skipped or clarify a term that's been used.
