Hi everyone. I am taking pregnacare which has 10mcg of vit d in it but Ive been reading that this isnt enough. What does everyone think? Should I buy an extra supplement? Id appreciate your thoughts please :0)

Hi, I’m also taking pregnacare from doctors advice but in addition, since reading “it’s starts with an egg” couple months back, I’m also now giving myself xtra boost with vit d spray (BetterYou DLux 3000 - Vitamin D Oral Spray - 15ml from amazon) as well as vit e, vit c and ubiquinol for egg quality, but then I’m 40 so taking extra help as ttc no1!

I think I followed this when pregnant (was a long time ago!) and took 5000IU.

I still take them now - I get mine from Bulk Powders. You're supposed to take them with your biggest meal or at least something with fat in it.

Sorry that's probably a bit confusing at it's all in international units (IU) instead of micrograms.

The 10mcg in your Pregnacare is 400IU.
