Mebeverine when pregnant?

I think I'm pregnant (very early days, hint of a line this morning).
Anyway I'm on mebeverine for IBS.
Reading online it says to ask Dr if you're pregnant.
I've managed to book an appt for Tues (miracle there was one so quickly!!), but should I try and go without until then?

Anyone used mebeverine during pregnancy? Anyone come off it and been ok (really worried about having an upset stomach)

The majority of medications from stomach tablets to athletes foot spray will say to "ask your doctor before taking if you're pregnant". The only ones that don't instead say "Don't take if you're pregnant." Those are the ones to be more concerned about.

I would personally keep taking it until a doctor advises otherwise.

I stopped taking meberverine and benefiber as soon as I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. I didn't consult with a doctor but did consult with my midwife at my 8 week booking appointment as she said i shouldn't take it.
I did find that I suffered for a few days with cramps, but things died down after that and I only had cramps every once in a while. But I wouldn't use me as an example as it seems I never had ibs but instead have endometriosis (symptoms are similar). I was just diagnosed with ibs as they couldn't figure out what was wrong with me.
