Boots conception vitamins still ok now pregnant?!

In my enthusiastic ttc-ing I'd stocked up on six months worth of Boots conception vitamins.

Now, sod's law (although obviously I'm ecstatic about it!) I'm pregnant sooner than expected with four boxes left!

Can I just keep taking them instead of buying new pregnancy vitamins? Are they the same thing? No information on the box or website, and although presumably they aren't doing any harm, I'm worried I'm not getting all the right amounts of stuff!!

(Also can't return/exchange them as I'd 'helpfully' written each month on the box with a big black pen... Blush)

Anyone got any idea??

I did similar to you with my first ds. And I continued to take the conception vitamins until I ran out and bought the pregnancy ones.

Yes, they should be fine.

Go into a Boots and photograph the ingredients of their pregnancy vitamins and see how similar they are.

The main things to check are that Vit A is low and folic acid and Vit D are high. And eat well, so the tablets are your security blanket rather than something you need (IYSWIM)

Ooh - great idea Edith - I'll go and get a photo today!

Unfortunately having real trouble eating anything but ready salted crisps at the moment... hence my vitamin deficiency panic!! Grin

Thank you Eeeeek Flowers

Saved me a job!

I think I might get a couple of boxes of pregnancy vits too and alternate days - so the conception ones don't all go to waste!!
