Waking Early?

Hi

So really early stages of pregnancy but for last 4/5 days I've been waking before 6...

I'm normally a sleep until the last minute person and can fall asleep with light dark noise silence ... anything

I'm just wide awake ages before I normally am or before I need to be...

Anyone else?

Not pregnant at all, but I always find my body is ready for daylight savings time a few weeks early. The clocks go forward tonight so you'll be waking up later from tomorrow

I had pregnancy insomnia from conception to delivery. My "baby" is now 3.5 and I still don't sleep as well as I did pre-pregnancy. It's shit.

I’ve been up since 4am 😴 Driving to London today with my girlfriends to see a musical. Don’t know how I’m going to stay awake past 9pm! 😂

I slept ten times better with a newborn than I ever did pregnant!

I expected my sleep would suffer, but expected it would be due to an uncomfortable bump - not just early waking... I'm so happy I'm not seeing friends until later in the afternoon, I'll be trying to have a nap later for sure ❤️

I'm only nine weeks and right now I'm waking up at 5am every morning! Even on my days off. Very annoying....

5:30 today, not too bad....

And I've achieved bugger all.

I've had trouble sleeping since the start of my pregnancy. It's why I feel like slapping every person who advises me to "sleep now while you can". But I cant f'ing sleep now. Angry

At the start it was anxiety, hormones, and the need for the bathroom that seemed behind it.

I've had a few brief periods of my sleep becoming more normal mostly in second trimester but then it goes back to crap. I am fortunate that my baby seems to fall asleep by 12:30 am each night and stay asleep until 6:30 am...but I need more sleep than that. Between 9:30 pm and 12:30 am is her most active time and I just can't fall asleep during it.

After my husband left for work, I snuggled down on the sofa with my kitten and we've just woken up 3 hours later... oops!
