How do you know when the time is right?

I'm 28, dp is 29. We both have decent jobs, live together happily etc. I am very broody however dp thinks we should wait until we emigrate (plans to move countries in 18 months). I want family support for the first few months however dp wants to wait, for financial reasons as 3 people moving will be more expense and hassle than 2. It just feels like the time is never going to be 'right' and I also have pcos so I am worried about concieving. Do you just 'know' when the time is right or do you just let nature take its course and make it work? Thanks in advance for any help

If you have pcos doesn't that reduce fertility? I would come of contraception now sounds like your ready for it,but then you've both to got to be in agreement. Wishing you luck xx

I don't think the time will ever be right. There will always be reasons to put it off. I put it off by 6 months to move countries, and I probably could have kept putting it off. I do worry about the lack of support, like you. We'll see how it goes.

Also, as PP said, PCOS can cause fertility issues. Have you spoken with your Dr about it? Maybe they can let you know what to expect.

The moving three people being more expensive sounds like an excuse.

But what happens to your job when you emigrate? Are you married? What is your plan for maternity/childcare?

There is no perfect time, but you do want a solid relationship and financial situation.
