Grapes...really??

So I just ate near enough a small bunch of green grapes.

Thought I might just have a look up to see what nice nutrients I’ve just consumed and now dr google is saying nope! No grapes in last trimester?! Various reasons why but can’t see anything on NHS!

Please tell me this is not a real thing and other people ate grapes in their third trimester?

Of course they did. Ignore Google. There is some batshit stuff out there.

I have just eaten most of a punnet myself and I am 40+4. Google will be showing you stuff from all over the world and different countries have different advice about certain food and drink for one reason or another. The NHS guidelines is the only one I would pay attention too. Just make sure you wash all fruit and veg before you eat it and you should be fine.

I have never heard that before. If it’s not on the NHS list it’s fine.

Thank you! It was the first hit on google! I was only looking to see what goodness I’d brought to myself and my baby ha!

I am loving grapes at the moment. Baby will probably come out with a wine bottle in it’s hand. But I did the same thing as you and googled it and sure enough there it was telling me I shouldn’t be eating them! I’ve naturally ignored that advice as it’s not on the nhs website and the fact I neeeeed grapes

I ate loads of grapes and DS is fine. None of the medical professionals mentioned grapes as something to avoid.

I'm sure I read on here that the grapes ferment and turn your milk into wine (paraphrasing).

To be fair it was a comment I quickly glanced at so I'm most probably wrong. Besides, if it was that bad for you surely there would be more information about?
