Stemetil ???

Got really bad morning sickness, midwife prescribed Stemetil.

Pharmacist has warned me it causes drowsiness, I have a four year old son I can't be falling asleep lol.

Has anyone taken these? Do they make you drowsy??

Hi, I took them and didn't find they made me drowsy at all, whilst some of the other anti-sickness drugs did.
They sadly didn't help my sickness either (but I did end up getting worse and having hyperemesis).
Hope they help you, maybe take the first dose later if you have a partner round to help this evening if they do make you sleepy?

Hi I was prescribed these, they didn't work for me unfortunately until I was prescribed something else alongside them. They did make me very drowsy at first but it did wear off, been on them since 8 weeks and only stopped them a few days ago now 18 weeks. I have a 3 year old and did find myself nodding off occasionally they might not affect you the same though.

That's my worry falling asleep and leaving ds, or missing collection at nursery lol.
