Hospital tomorrow. Might be miscarrying. Need a hand hold,

Hi all. So, I have a scan tomorrow 6+3. Had miscarriages in the past and no live births. Am currently bleeding a little and have cramping pains. Holding out hope that everything is ok, but really could use some words of wisdom/kindness/compassion. Anyone?

Oh OP. So sorry to read this. I’ve had a miscarriage so am well aware of that feeling. You poor thing, you never know, it may be okay. I bled with my eldest and she was fine, it was browny blood, my miscarriage was bright red.

Hi ArizonaLeone, so sorry you're going through this. Early pregnancy is so anxiety inducing, let alone when you're been through so much heartache already. I'm crossing everything for you. Obviously you'll know much more tomorrow even if that seems a million years away, but for now, you're pregnant. For what it's worth I had bleeding twice in early pregnancy. Once it was an early MC but the second time was a very small haematoma and that little boy is sleeping across the hall right now. Sending hugs tonight and tomorrow x

I too on Saturday bled a bit and went to hospital for a scan. I was almost 11 weeks but they said the baby's heart stop a little while ago. I had a missed miscarriage and I'm still waiting for any of it to pass. I'm in a limbo of my life body feeling pregnant but emotionally I know I'm not.

I really pray that tomorrow goes to plan for you and it's not the worst news. But whatever does happen, you are not alone. And your baby will never truly leave you and will always remain, your baby. Life can be cruel sometimes, but there is always ease in every hardship. My life has been rocked and I've spent the day crying my eyes out, holding onto these little booties I brought so hopefully. But the women on here have helped a lot I haven't felt alone. Surround yourself with love ones who understand and support you. Look after yourself and I'm praying that tomorrow goes well. Message me if yo need too. All the love. Xx

@ArizonaLeone - I'm so sorry you're going through this, I've had 2 MCs myself so know the utter heartache and pain. May I ask what colour your bleeding is? Good luck with your scan tomorrow!

@jellycrumble thank you for your kind words. It started off brown, then red, now a greyish jelly like consistence (sorry if that's tmi). It's not that heavy, but heavier than spotting. Like a light period. The last times I miscarriage it was much heavier but then I was further along. I'm only 27 so worried there's something wrong with me that's making me miscarry. Fingers and toes crossed...

@ArizonaLeone, if it's any reassurance at all, I had brown spotting at 5 weeks, continued for a few days and had a "gush" of browny red bleeding - went to the hospital who referred me for an early scan. As it was so early couldn't see a HB and no cause for bleeding but a week later we saw the heartbeat and I'm now 26 weeks. I was told it was a threatened MC and due to my previous history was convinced I was losing the baby. I spent hours reading forums and convincing myself it was all over. There was never a cause for the bleeding. I really don't want to get your hopes up however I did want to offer that even though right now it may seem bleak, the outcome isn't always negative. Keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow, I really really hope it's all okay x

@jellycrumble so glad it all worked out for you, and thank you again for your comment/support. Pregnancy is so stressful. I think once you've had a miscarriage your anxiety levels will always be high as you know how painful it is. I'm full of hope but being realistic at the same time. Thank you

@CamilleJanae can I ask that when you are commenting on a post on which someone has described something potentially heartbreaking, that you please think about the words you choose. It may not be the end of your world but would feel like the end of mine. Miscarriage is devastating and your blase approach is not helpful at all.

I had this at 10 weeks was certain I was misscarrying me and the oh was in tears on the way to the hospital ended up seeing a healthy baby. Fingers crossed for you xxx

@ArizonaLeone - A lot of people say it around here, just because hugs are considered a little fluffy for mumsnet I think. But felt you definitely deserved one! Fingers and toes crossed, good luck tomorrow

I've been through a miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy and had given up any hope of having another baby. My first was 16years ago. We decided to stop trying as we didn't want to go through it again. A few years down the line and we stopped being careful as I just thought I was in fertile now. Silly really but I now have a two month old baby. I constantly worried, I had so much pain in the first 8 weeks I resigned to it not working out but it did and I'm so glad we have her.

I hope this gives you some hope, I think once you've been through a loss you convince yourself it never will happen.
