Anyone else the same? Smile

I'm 35 weeks on Thursday and have an overwhelming urge to get everything in the house in order before the baby arrives!

I packed my hospital bag on Sunday so maybe that is what started it off...

Just me then? Grin

I'm all stiff today, think I overdid it last night with the cleaning!

I'm only 17 weeks and can't stand anything out of place 😂 I'd say take it easy but I've been know to shift wardrobes etc like a maniac in the past haha! Have a cuppa and put your feet up 😊

That's how I feel Fallen!
There's still a few jobs I want doing around the house before I start ML but I feel so much better making a good start last night Smile

Me too. 31 weeks here.
It doesn’t help that I have anxiety/mild ocd.

I just want everything organised

Had to start at 18 weeks due to MIL ordering new furniture and decorating stuff for nursery and toddlers room. One week on and I'm barely alive due to strep throat 😭😭

I'm only 22 weeks but have been doing DIY for the last month!! It feels great when I do achieve something.

I've been a bit wary about all the chemicals - still using low VOC paints though.

I'm 34 weeks and I can't stop cleaning! I've packed my bag and cleaning everything in sight! Seems pointless with a messy DH and toddler but I can't stop! I get so excited about cleaning products.
I've still got 2 weeks left at work and got to sort out the spare room which is currently a dumping ground.
My DS was born at 36 weeks so I wonder if this is a sign baby 2 will come early too?

BabyBooDue · 21/03/2018 12:11

@Cosmiccowgirl84 I can't imagine how difficult that must be! Do you feel like you're successful in getting everything ready?

@gryffen your MIL is far more organised than me! There's still a few bits I need to get before baby's arrival (important stuff too, like a mattress for the Moses basket Grin)

I’m finding it tough. I had a meltdown at the weekend as I got a baby item I had ordered out of its box to find it broken, so will have to sort out a return (large item so annoying).

I’ve also got some second hand stuff and been panicking about it being properly clean - all the clothes have been washed in Napisan, washed again in Ecover then had 2 spin cycles!

The cot was second hand and had some dirt on it (white marks) so I spent ages scrubbing them off with Milton anti-bac spray ... then ended up buying a new cot anyway. It’s hard to know what’s reasonable and what’s my anxiety talking.

I'm 38 weeks and think for the first time in my existence I am actually caught up on the laundry....including taking down and washing the curtains lol 😂

I want to do so much more but have lots of trouble bending down, so the house isn't quite up to the standard I want it to be but will have to do!
