Tips for hairdresser appointment at 8.5 months?

hello, I'm going for my final haircut next week when I'll be 8.5 months pregnant. My last appointment was about 15 weeks and I felt pretty uncomfortable at the hairwash then. They have a sort of reclining one rather than just sitting up straight with your head back and lying back is super difficult for me, plus I'm really breathless now.

Anyone gone at this late stage and found a way to make it more comfortable? Is lying on your side possible?!

Wash your hair at home first?

After back surgery I rang the hairdressers in advance and asked if it would be ok to wash my hair at home first and it was much better than having to lie back over the sink.

Yy just check in advance and say you want a dry cut I think they call it?! I always wash and dry mine at home go they slrayvit damp cut and then blowdry and style slightly cheaper too.

I have Afro hair so there's at least two washes...a conditioning treatment is included and as it's £££ I'd quite like to make the most of it! But maybe I'm being a bit ambitious. Hmm. Maybe I'll call and see if they can change the seat to be more upright or something.
Thanks!
