Just curious and trying to distract myself from the nausea. I felt a bit sick with my first think I was sick twice max but I was fine in general. I'm nearly seven weeks with my second and have already thrown up more than with my dd can't face food feel ill all day, this is new territory; So I just wondered if anyone had sickness with one and sex and not the other and tips to help with sickness would be greatly appreciated too, thanksss.

DS1: hyperemisis, couldn’t even lift head from pillow. Completely disabled me
DS2: absolutely no sickness
DS3: sickness started around 13 weeks and ended about 20ish I guess. Wasn’t too bad, mostly when I was hungry or looked at food and didn’t feel like it... i would either gag wildly or gag then throw up.

Honestly don’t think sex of baby has anything to do with it. But I hope you feel better soon!

DS1 - vomited twice
DD1 - sick daily until 15 weeks
DS2 - so sick. (It was so bad that I was in hospital for weeks only stopped once he was delivered)
DD2 - currently 23 weeks and still being sock every day but only been in hospital twice with it. Much more manageable this time.

I vote its just an old wives tale. X

2 pregnancies, HG in both, very similar course in terms of severity, onset etc.

I have 1 DS and one DD.
