I'm 33 weeks and noticed the baby is moving so much more today as in more than usual, almost constantly all day. Is this something I should call about or should I wait til my appointment on weds morning?

I'd call. Any changes in movement should be checked out.

boingbat · 19/03/2018 20:09

Yes, they say get any change in movements checked

RedPanda25 · 19/03/2018 20:17

I had this on Sunday at 32 weeks and I went and got checked out. They said I absolutely did the right thing so definitely call your MAU and get checked out.

Hmm I've rang triage and they have said nothing to worry about as more movements is ok they would only call me in if it was reduced or changed movements

Doesn’t ‘a lot more movements than usual’ count as ‘changed movements’?!

zaalitje · 20/03/2018 02:31

What is changed movement anyway?
I keep asking Hcps but no bugger will give me an answer!

This happened to me!
I had a day when baby moved constantly. I called triage and they said that there would only be an issue if extra movement was accompanied with pain or if I felt unwell.
They said to call back if later on in the day if I still felt concerned, but 5 hours later the movements had gone back to normal. Everything has been fine since but I thought extra movements was the same as 'change in movement'??? Its so confusing!
