Pregnancy Previa?

Had our 20 week scan today, everything went great & everything is how it should be. Afterwards though I was told I had Pregnancy Previa? Can anyone tell me about this? Has anyone else had it?

Oops I meant placenta Previa

It may mean you cannot have a vaginal birth and will need a section. However your placenta still may move out of the way of your birth canal in the last weeks of your pregnancy.

I had it briefly but my placenta did move and in the end I had a vaginal delivery.

I have anterior placenta this time around but hopefully it will move by the end.

Id assume they will check its position again at 30 weeks + and make a decision/discuss delivery options then?
What did they tell you they would do?

Thanks windchimes they did mention something it might move out the way as time goes by.
I've got to have extra scans anyway as I have hypertension so they will look at this again when I go for my next scan at 28 weeks.
