Near 2 months into second pregnancy sickness levels high, not as bad as first time but last few days really sick.

I am do thirsty but nothing I drink helps, feel like I've tried everything.

I'm normally a tea drinker went right off tea I've tried orange, lemon, lime, fruits, I'm sitting most nights with water but so thirsty.

Any suggestions xx

I would normally take tea with no sugar, DH uses sweetner, I'll maybe pick up some sugar give it a try. Had a right big satisfying drink of fresh orange and sparkling water, but now went right off it.

God pregnancy is so annoying x

Ice lollies are brilliant for this - I feel your pain!

Grapefruit juice was one of the few things I could face when my sickness was really bad in the first trimester. I have chugged it from the bottle in the supermarket aisle before now. Grapefruit juice and tonic is lovely.

I'm finding the really cheap own brand calippo type ice lollies (not the sugar free ones!) You get in supermarkets help.
That and slightly flat irn bru (such a stereotype!)

I made ice lollies out of lucazade sport, only thing that quenched me and cleared my first trimester headaches, used to go to bed with one.

I could of asked this myself. Its driving me mad, everything is making me either feel sick or be sick. I cant even drink water. Ive tried carbonated and it still doesnt work. I just want coke but i did that with my first and shes up at half 5 bouncing off the walls.
I have no idea what to drink.
Its really not good for me to have 3 cans od coke a day! My diet is awful as well.
My nauseous is so much worse this time but my actual throwing up was horrific woth dd

polkadotpixie · 20/03/2018 18:29

Things I've found tolerable are:

Ribena
Lucozade
Very cold orange juice

I find water makes it worse and tea is a complete no go!

Cupcakesandlove I feel exactly the same, I was Pepsi with dc1 and funnily enough he's a five am riser too 😱 and I've been eating so much rubbish that I'm trying hard now to eat more fresh fruit and cook meals, but it's so hard cooking when you want to Puke!!

Will be buying grapefruit juice and lemon ice lollies tomo.

Worst bit is my sickness came back in the third trimester last time, pregnancy sucks x

@laura i was vomiting until my placenta was removed! Constant i was driving vomiting out the window....
While its not that bad at the moment, my nausea is on another scale.
I could quite happily forget about eating if i was allowed to just drink coke all day!

Both pregnancies I've been big on ice lollies. Especially the non sweetend orange ones. Look out for the own brand luxury Ines like Tesco finest.
