Hi Guys,
Firstly I'm sorry for dumb question 🙈
I've recently found out I'm pregnant and my current work environment means I come into contact with X-rays/CT Scans,
Is there any advice/precautions I need to take whilst at work xxx

Congratulations. Yes, you should tell your manager right away and get a full risk assessment done in case your work duties need to be changed.

Yeah in that situation you really need to tell your line manager ASAP, they need to do a risk assessment and then edit your duties accordingly if necessary. Not trying to scare you but I'd imagine there could potentially be significant consequences to over-exposure to irradiation during pregnancy, it's not something you want to try and somehow 'manage' on your own. Your employer has a duty of care here when you tell them you are pregnant, so go and do it tomorrow please!

Yeah I would tell them asap- they will have some kind of health and safety officer or procedure to assess your risk and what you can and can't do. They can also keep it confidential until you want to go public.
Congrats!!!
