I'm 25 weeks pregnant and I've got terrible piles. So painful. Anyone else experienced this during their pregnancy and any ideas what helped for it too? Thank you ladies.

I did last time - not bad ones though- germaloids worked (supposotories and cream paired up).

Midwife said anusol was fine to use.

Fybogel to avoid constipation. Dab Witch hazel on if bleeding.

Anusol or Preparation H cream, washing with water and not using any shower gel, a warm bath with diluted tea tree oil.
Takes a bit of time but mine were horrendous and this cleared them right up Smile

Just to add OP that making sure to lie down as much as you can, it takes the pressure off your bum and really helps with the pain. Also, avoid tea/coffee and anything dehydrating, make sure you drink lots of water and eat lots of fresh food that will help avoid constipation or diahorrea for you (everyone has different triggers I think), both of these make piles worse. Anusol with cortisone is safe in pregnancy and works, tea tree and lavender in the bath also help. TMI here but if you can stand it if they are external, push them in, it will relieve the pain. I had horrendous piles in both pregnancies and they persisted for three months after the second, honestly I swore those months of piles were more painful than two days in labour! Best of luck Flowers

Scheriproct Suppositories on prescription were the only thing that worked for me. I used over the counter Anusol & Germaloids as well but the prescription ones made such a difference and are safe in pregnancy.
