Hi all, in my quest to get a sticky bean of my own I’m thinking rather than ivf trying iui first then take from there. Whilst success not high as ivf I want to try other avenues as it’s been 7mths of ttc bean no 1.

Hoping of some iui success stories

I am an IUI success story (well am 15 week so hoping it stays a success story) although am 35 not 40.

I had 3 cycles privately in 2016 and all 3 failed. I then got offered 6 on NHS last year and the 4th was my BFP.

As you said, success rates are lower than on IVF and I don’t know much about the affects of age on them, but it can work.

Would you be doing this privately or NHS? The doctors should be able to advise whether it is worthwhile doing it or not

Hi, I’d be looking to do privately, was going to check maybe with CRGH or London Women’s Clinic
