Well I'm 34+2, decided to pack my hospital bag today so it's one less thing to do when I'm finished work Smile

Hoping to put everything in there at once so it can just be forgotten about until the Big Day!

This is my list - would be grateful if anyone could let me know if anything is unnecessary, or if I've forgotten something obvious...

Thanks!

ME:
Pyjamas
Button down nighty
Leggings/top to wear home
Big knickers/Bra
Maternity pads (2 x packs of 10)
Breast pads
Face wipes/Moisturiser
Dry shampoo
Shower gel/flannel
Deodorant
Toothpaste/toothbrush
Hairbrush/bobbles
Lip balm
Towel
Phone charger
Money
Hospital notes

BABY:
Formula starter pack
Nappies
Cotton wool
3 x vests
3 x onesies
Hat
Cardigan
Coming home outfit
Blanket
Muslin cloths

Kindle or a Book
Nice snacks - Nature Valley/Crisps
Nice comfy loose bottoms i had an EMCS and was nice to be loose and comfy i had some organic cotton harem types from Braintree.
I put all babies things in zip lock freezer bags as whole outfits easy for partner or you to grab and sort baby.
Flip flops for showers/toilets
Bed socks

Not for hosp bag but make sure all babys things are ready and set up and you know how they work at home sterilisers perfect prep if ff etc

I also put a freshly washed pillow case in my bag for hosp just for it to be homely.

Hope that helps Smile

Taking note of all suggestions! Thanks

@littleHen84 I wasn't sure what to pack for myself to wear! At the minute I'm alternating between a pair of leggings and 2 pairs of maternity jeans, would you recommend I buy something more comfortable?

Ooh I didn't have a c-section and still definitely didn't brave jeans for a while - I'd go leggings or loose cotton trousers.

Deffo comfy all the way,i didnt wear my maternity jeans after the birth felt to squished and uncomfy plus i was so hot! I had alot of fluid retention! Natural loose fibres all the way, cheapo primark boyfriend type tees to go with harems you will feel comfy and be fine for visitors! Although i did have wild hair pjs and no bra for a few visitors hehe.

I will grab some cheapy jogging bottoms and t-shirts in primark today! Thanks for the tip Smile

I forgot a book or magazine last time and was told they don't have anything like that about on the ward due to hygiene reasons so I had to spend hours reading the baby's red book 😂
