Yes, sounds like pre labour - don't know how long it will last sorry!

Peeing 5 times in the last hour - do you think you might have a urine infection?

Not surprised you're fed up! I had prelabour for two nights before finally going into 'real' labour - and didn't get any sleep for those two nights.

Summerfruit, I do sympathise.

I have been up for hours with constant braxton hicks, backache, period pains and I keep being sick. I have lost my mucus plug and the baby is fully engaged, still doesn't want to be born though.

I know exactly how you feel.

It does sound like your body is gearing up for labour. Could be ages yet, though. Or could start properly any mimute, there's just no knowing. But from now on take things easily. Keep mobile, but also rest as much as possible and eat small frequent meals so that you have as much energy as possbile for when it all gets going.

Good luck, both of you - soon soon soon you'll be meeting your new LOs! Excited for you!

Oh no, I don't want the baby to be born today. DH has gone to Alton Towers, 3hrs away with friends.

My legs are firmly crossed...

...which gives me cramp.

Oh poor you Summerfruit, i too have been up alot in the nnight with BH and back ache. Everytime i try to lie quietly and concentrate on it my ds#4 wakes and cries\moans\fidgets. Im sure he is actually preventing my labour as im too tired to do it.

It is hopefully the sart of something though, you do sound very ready for it. It is so exhausting waiting for it all to happen, you feel like a time bomb.

Yup sounds like labour to me, exactly like mine. Hate the term prelabour, labour is labour, sounds like things are getting started. To be honest if it was me I would ask DH not to go today or at very least make sure you have someone with you all day. Remember you shouldn't drive yourself anywhere.

Try getting in the bath for an hour or so, keep topping up with hot water (not too hot though).

Good luck, how exciting, a new baby
