My logical side is telling me not to worry but I'm 19 weeks now and I felt some flutters at 15 weeks but nothing since. Occasionally I feel what is more like a stretching pain but I'm concerned that I should be feeling more by now. The heart beat was heard at 16 weeks and the bump is very much obvious. But should I be feeling more by now? I had anterior placenta with my first but placenta is in the usual place this time so I thought I'd feel more

Hi lass how are you?

I'm 18 weeks and second pregnancy and kinda like you had some feelings of movement (weird stretchy under skin?) And then maybe nothing for a day or so.

Do you have your 20 week scan booked, you are near enough for the midwife to listen in via Doppler so reassurance that way too?

Totally get the nervous worry!

Thank you. Scan booked next Friday so not too long to wait, but also feels forever!
Heart beat was good and clear at 16 weeks. The midwife is so hard to get hold of, I doubt Id get in before the scan.

Try not to worry. I'm on my third pregnancy and felt this baby way later than the previous two. With both I was feeling clear movement by 16-17 weeks. This time I felt the odd flutter about 16 weeks then nothing really until 20 weeks.
I'm 21+6 now and although the movements are stronger they are still few and far between.
Scans are fine and heard HB at midwife appt which is reassuring.

Thank you. I know you're not meant to establish a pattern till 24 weeks so my rational side is saying chill out but my worrier side is fighting!
