I took 9 Tesco tests previously a month ago and they were positive and I've just been to the doctors and it's not pregnant? Not sure what to think.

That must be very confusing. I saw your other thread. What happened at the doctor?

BIUE · 15/03/2018 11:42

@AnneLovesGilbert he just did a test and said I wasn't pregnant

How far along did you think you were? Do you know the date of your last period?

It must be really confusing and unsettling, sorry Flowers

False positives do happen occasionally but I think 9 in a row is unlikely.

BIUE · 15/03/2018 11:48

@AnneLovesGilbert I've missed 3 periods

How very bizarre!? I'm surprised your Dr did a test at all - mine didn't bother. Do you have your tests? Maybe take them along and request a booking appointment anyway (or blood test?). Good luck OP!

BIUE · 15/03/2018 15:24

@EastDulwichWife I still have them yes

Have a blood test

BrutusMcDogface · 15/03/2018 16:06

Did the doctor give you any idea as to what might be going on, if you're not pregnant? Flowers

Oysterbabe · 15/03/2018 16:22

Have you taken any other brands of test?

RLOU88 · 15/03/2018 16:55

The only thing I can think of is a missed miscarriage. Did your doctor talk to you about this being a possibility? I had one a couple of years ago, got positive tests then negatives and my period didn’t arrive for a couple of months x take care x

coffeeforone · 15/03/2018 16:56

That's very strange. Are you able to post a pic of one of the tests and the date you took it / the date of your LMP. Based on how dark the test is others may have some advice.

Katyx3 · 15/03/2018 17:03

Very sorry to read this 😘 x

Given that you were getting negatives on other brand tests at the same time as the positives most likely the tests are faulty or you weren't reading them correctly.

Lozz22 · 15/03/2018 22:28

This happened to me in Nov last year!! 11 positive pregnancy tests on one brand yet clear blue a Poundland cheapie and a B&M one were all negative as was my blood test! In the end even the brand I was testing positive on started getting lighter and lighter until finally it was just 1 line not 2 I was gutted I finally thought after 15 years of ttc I’d finally managed to fall pregnant!! My period after was horrendous too really painful, really heavy to the point it gushed down my legs every time I had a shower and it was really clotty too!!

sidewayswithatescotrolley · 15/03/2018 22:33

haven't you posted multiple posts on this now?

Surely the dr talked to you about reasons why you may not have periods and not be pregnant?

BrutusMcDogface · 15/03/2018 22:38

Lozz , sorry to hear that. Sounds horrendous Sad
