How can you tell waters have broken

So I'm 34 + 2 and this morning I was on the toilet and had what I can only describe as the biggest wee ever which carried on leaking out for ages. Since then I have been sick and I know it sounds stupid but I'm sure my bump feels smaller. Have my waters broken or has baby just moved. I don't want to phone the hospital as I have already been in a couple of weeks ago with BH and I don't want them to start thinking I'm a hypochondriac/stupid (although maybe I am!Wink) thanks for any advice xx

Put on a pad and see if any more comes out? TBH I would ring them. Mine went on the loo and it was like a super big wee, but then as I moved around I had several mini gushes afterwards. They would rather see you 1000 times for reassurance than you not ring the time you needed to.

I would have rung the hospital already myself, there's no limit on how many times you can go in and they will not think you are a hypochondriac or stupid. If your waters have gone they will need to decide what to do, due to the risk of infection. If your waters have gone and you were to go into labour soon, you want to be in the right place. Obviously it may very well all be fine, but this is probably not something you leave to chance Flowers

Definitely ring them. Your bump will feel smaller as the waters have reduced. If it is your waters you and your baby are at risk of infection. You must ring the them now. Don’t worry about what they think, they don’t even remember, it’s their job to check you’re both okay.

Ring them! Mine went and when I went to the toilet I honestly wasn’t sure if I was peeing or my waters were going more... turns out it was definitely the waters! But it fooled me, I genuinely wasn’t sure

Ring them - why people thing your being a nuisance I don't know but ring them to put your mind at rest.

Hope you and baby ok.
