Tell me this is normal for a 3rd and not twins

Obviously you can't actually tell me it's not twins. Just looking for others experiences of 3rd pregnancy.

This is my 3rd and I'm 10 weeks. I look like I did at 25 weeks with my first. I have been eating like a horse (when not all consumed with nausea) and have so far lost 1lb.

Just me?

It's because you are relaxed and your body knows what to expect, IMO. Congratulations!

I'm nearly 9 weeks with number 3. I look huge! It gets bigger as the day goes on though so I thinks it's a lot of bloat! I was massive with my other two, I'm dreading the 'how big' comments..

This was me 14 weeks ago, huge, more tired than before and more nauseous than before. Just one in there, but it was a girl (2boys before) so that might have explained some of it. Also, how much older are you? I’m 10 years older than my first pregnancy so totally knackered!

I'm way bigger with my 2nd and just had scan confirming not twins but I had the fear. A health visitor at work told me that although your separated tummy muscles knit back together, the join is pretty weak so everything falls out in subsequent pregnancies. And I thought id been good doing Pilates etc after my first!

I was huge with my 3rd. Looked 9 months pregnant from about 16 weeks. Measured big too so had to have growth scans. Currently pregnant with my 4th and in the same again. My first 3 were all boys so it wasn't anything to do with the sex and I had them all within 4 years so don't think it was an age thing either.

littlepooch · 14/03/2018 21:59

I'm huge with my third. 13 weeks and already look about 26 weeks. I have a very small age gap so am blaming that!

MaverickSnoopy · 15/03/2018 05:26

Hallelujah! So glad I posted. I love definitely been having the fear, although a big part of me logically knew that this is my third and I'm bound to be showing sooner. Having huge difficulty hiding it and we're not planing on telling people for another 2 weeks, until after the first scan.

This pregnancy is 7 years after my first so I am older than I was the first time, still "only" early 30's though. At least I've got less of the fear now so thanks ladies for sharing your experiences. I think I must have reached peak fear when I couldn't get my top off last night!
