Baby wraps

I am sure this has been asked many times before, but I am putting together my baby buy list. I much prefer wearing the baby than pushing in the pram as it’s more practical around the house and for dog walking.

With my DD I just bought a cheap wrap of amazon, I got to grips with the way to wrap etc. But it was a lot of material and not very practical in that sense.

Can anyone advise me with regards to the best wrap/slings to get and why you like them? Thank you!

Try a close caboo at first and a connect a when a bit older. The material wraps are fab but a bit of a learning curve - however if you like pretty things then a size 5 or 6 didymos should see you right (5 if you are petite, 6 otherwise). That will last as long as you need it to.

Have a look and see if there is a sling library anywhere near you.
It's a great way to get advice on and trying out lots of different sling options and you can usually hire them for a low price to try them out before you make a decision on which one to buy.

I used to have a mei tai. It was the best, literally round my back, tie in a knot and then over the shoulders and tie. No extra tails, and no multiple wraps round. I loved it. Only wish I could remember who I let borrow it so I could use it again this time xx

We have a sling library where I live, it’s fab and they have just about every sling to try out with the weighted dolls and you can even rent them when your baby is born if you still don’t feel you know which is best.
It’s fab maybe google to see if you have anything similar where you live.
